Before opening his own practice, Jack Brant was a director in the Albuquerque office of Rodey, Dickason, Sloan, Akin & Robb, P.A. He practices in the areas of attorney and accountant professional liability, legal ethics and disciplinary consulting and representation, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, and general civil litigation.
Jack graduated first in his law school class and was elected a member of the Order of the Coif. From 1983-1985, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Howard C. Bratton, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.
Prior to joining the Rodey firm in 1987, Jack was an associate with the firm of Crowell & Moring in Washington, D.C., where he practiced general civil litigation with a concentration in product liability and insurance defense.
Jack has achieved an A-V Martindale-Hubbell rating.
He is listed in Chambers & Partners-America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2004) in Litigation. Chambers notes his “natural modesty” and ability to handle complex cases with the “utmost professionalism.”
